I am a Senior Research Scientist at the Bosch Center for Artificial Intelligence (BCAI) in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA. I am also an Adjunct Faculty in the Robotics Institute, School of Computer Science, at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) and the Robotics Research Lead in the Carnegie Bosch Institute at CMU.
I lead the Robot Learning Lab (RLL) at BCAI, focused on developing autonomous systems that learn safe, robust, multimodal, and transferrable representations of the world and are therefore capable of acquiring, adapting, and improving their own skills/behavior when deployed to diverse scenarios.
I obtained my Ph.D. from the Language Technologies Institute, in the School of Computer Science at CMU (while dual-affiliated with Bosch Research Pittsburgh), working with Jean Oh and Eric Nyberg. Before that, I obtained my B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Electrical & Computer Engineering, in the College of Engineering at CMU.
